One of my favorite things to create is a custom original oil for a client. Nothing is more special than a person trusting me to produce a unique piece of art, just for them, to hang on a wall and cherish forever.
Often a client will send me a photo of what they would like, and I love to paint from this image. Sometimes clients simply see something on my website that has been sold and would like something similar. Sometimes clients would like a specific subject matter. For instance, in the Countryside collection they may have a barn on their property they would like painted or perhaps, like in the Coastline collection, they may have a boat they want captured on canvas. I have had clients request a certain still life, as in the Farm Stand collection, because their family farmed a certain crop. The sky’s the limit, and I would be honored to create an oil painting that is particularly meaningful to you.
I email the client along the way, update them on the process, and include them on any decision they may be interested in. I also help the client choose the best size and frame choice for their one of a kind masterpiece.
